Budget update

The parent budget survey results are in and, in a ranking of importance, academic and teacher classroom support was the overwhelming priority for parents who completed the survey. Read the rest of the survey results here. The Budget Committee is using these results to drive our 2017-2018 spending priorities and will present budget recommendations to the PTSA Board on Thursday, November 9th. Contact Anne Friedlander with questions.

The Annual Fund is coming

The Annual Fund is just getting into gear! Watch your mailboxes for the Annual Fund mailing with all the exciting information. We're looking forward to continuing to build this wonderful community and support our students in their journey as learners. In the meantime, you can donate online, with major credit cards and PayPal all accepted.

Special Education parent group

Calling all Special Education parents, friends, and allies: please consider attending our next meeting on November 16 at 6:45 pm in the Meany Cafe. We'll continue to talk about the challenges and frustrations, joys and triumphs, processes and paperwork involved in raising special kids — and how to foster inclusivity in our diverse school culture. Please contact Lori Hiltz to RSVP or with any questions.

Don't forget to vote

King County ballots must be mailed in by November 7th. There are three school board positions on the ballot. ReadySetVote.Org is a great impartial resource to compare each candidate's endorsements.
