Volunteers needed: winter concert reception

We are looking for volunteers for the cookie, coffee, and hot cocoa reception prior to the winter concert on Tuesday, December 12th starting at 5:30 pm in the Meany Cafe. At this event, kids can grab a treat prior to heading to their classes to warm-up, and parents can linger in the cafe while waiting for the concert to start at 7 pm. Please sign up if you can help by bringing cookies or serving. Questions? Contact Lara Kreyenhagen

The Annual Fund needs your help

Meany Mountain Lion families and friends! Please support the Annual Fund today. An important note: the PTSA will not be holding an action this year, so this is our big chance to support the school and our students! With nearly $20,000 raised so far, we're on pace to reach our goal, as long as we keep up this good momentum. Funds help with academic classroom support, additional resources for teachers, and opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the school day. The deadline is December 31st and you can make your contribution today by visiting or by sending a check, made payable to the Meany PTSA, to the school office. Thank you!

The Coat Drive & Ski Swap is coming

The Meany Coat Drive & Ski Swap will help provide Meany families with warm coats for the winter and support scholarships for the Meany Ski Bus. It will be held on Saturday, January 6th from 9am to noon. During the event, any Meany family can pick up coats at no cost. Ski and snowboarding equipment will be sold with all proceeds going to a scholarship fund for the Meany Ski Bus program. Learn more about the event and how to sign up to volunteer!

Join the Special Education parent group

The Meany Special Education parent group will next meet on Wednesday, January 10th at 6:30 pm in the library. Please join us if you have a child with a 504 or IEP, want to learn more about Special Education, or are interested in being an ally for Special Education and supporting this vital part of our diverse school community. Contact Lori Hiltz to RSVP or learn more.

Welcome our newest Meany counselor

A warm welcome to Diallo Jackson who has just joined the Meany counseling team and will be working with Ms. Baker in supporting our Meany students. Read more about Mr. Diallo in his own words, and be sure to say hello if you see him on campus!
