Ski Bus at Meany
We are gearing up for the second year of the Friends of Meany Ski Bus. While we are still waiting for final confirmation from WebbSki regarding specific dates and costs, we do know a few details. The ski bus will run on Friday nights for six weeks from early January until mid-February. The bus leaves immediately after school and returns to Meany between 10:30 - 11:00 pm. Students have the choice whether to sign up for lessons or have the entire time to ski on their own. Those that do sign up for lessons will also have some free time. All grade levels are welcome to participate. It’s important to know that while there are chaperones on the bus, students will need to be able to function independently on the mountain. It's also important to know that the ski bus is not a Meany or Seattle Public School sanctioned event. We will need 2-3 adults to volunteer as chaperones for each night. Please contact Rusty Hibbert ( or John Sullivan ( if you have questions or are interested in volunteering.
