Healthy Youth Survey on October 17th

Meany will participate in a Healthy Youth Survey this Fall. Sixth grade and eighth grade students will take the survey at school on October 17th. The survey asks questions about risks for injury, health outcomes, and alcohol and drug use. Schools, and state and local agencies use survey results to support our youth and reduce their risks. The Healthy Youth Survey is voluntary and anonymous and provides important information to guide policy and programs that serve our youth. Here is a flyer with more information. Please share this information with your student. Then, talk about the survey and decide if your student will participate.

Take the Washington State PTA Priorities Survey!

The Washington State PTA wants to know what’s important to you!  Help us represent Meany: take the PTA online survey by October 5.  2018 ballot issues range from school meals, to closing to the gaps to pre-school, recess, teacher shortages, gun safety and more. Go here for more information on individual topics.

Can’t vote online? Fill out this ballot and return to the PTA Office. We’ll compile them for you.  For Meany’s voice to be heard, we need 25 members per PTA to be counted, so your voice matters!  Please take a few moments and let the Washington State PTA and Legislature know what’s important to you and your family. Questions, please contact : Meany Legislative Chair Nancy Jensen,
